2009

Something about March 2009.
I cleaned out the studio starting with my basket of stored supplies, got rid of all unwanted scrap supplies, cleaned up my inspiration file, finished 5 paintings in 2 months and am working on my sixth one. Went one step further and entered 2 pieces of artwork in a juried show. Restarted this blog (last I updated was a year ago) and am committed to updating daily. Visit other art sites daily for inspiration and have honed in on my style of painting.
I feel good.....maybe 2009 is my year.

Oil on canvas

Have submitted this piece to the Beaux Arts Brampton juried show and extremely apprehensive on whether it will be accepted or not. It is the first time I have left the safety of my studio and publicly asked for criticism.....nerve wracking. April 05th is when we take the art to the studio and same day afternoon they will let us know. Will be on pins till then!!
